Campanile Fougères

We both like the Campaniile brand. The overnight stay was fine. The staff very friendly and the continental breakfast is what you might expect. The hotel itself was in a more leafy part on the east side of the centre of Fougeres. Based on other Campaniles, we have stayed at, this one seemed as though it might benefit from a little bit of TLC. However, it doesn't detract from what the chain is there for which is to provide one or two nights stop, on a budget, to your main destination.

With Campanile there are few surprises. The room was basic but clean, the beds comfy and bathroom fine with a great shower and bath. The location, parking and integral restaurant were very convenient for our stopover on a long journey.

Stayed here on a recent road trip. You know what you're getting with a Campanile and this was exactly what we had experienced in other locations. The rooms are are large, clean and comfortable. We read on other reviews that other guests had found the location next to the main road too noisy but we did not have the same experience.
